I am also training for my first marath...Great job! I am also training for my first marathon (Steamtown Marathon on October 13th) and my 20 mile run is this weekend. Right now I can't wait to taper but we'll see once I get through this weekend. And I can relate to the resentment of a training schedule - I'm so over HAVING to run and am looking forward to going back to just running for the joy of it although I do have a couple of half marathons in the near future but for now I just want to get through this.
