I'd plugged in the charger, but somehow the watch wasn't attached to it (?). I thought there would be enough battery power anyways (since I don't use my Garmin everyday)...but no dice. I know all my route distances, but I was doing several out-and-backs on random city blocks and that was just enough to alter the real distance. I know I was close to my "predicted" distance, so that will have to do.
