In fact, when the Ride 8 came out, I wasn't thrilled with the fit and backstocked like 10 pairs of the Ride 7 - and I'm up to my last pair with a little over 100 miles on them. I got fitted for the Ride 10 and purchased them for fall marathon season, and they are just "OK." I get arch pain every once in a while, and had pain/numb leg during my last marathon, which I'm unsure if to attribute to the shoes or...??? In any event, I need to go back to the running store and try out some new brands and models again. But man, was that a love affair with the Ride 7! Brooks never worked for me and I've never tried Mizuno. I've had the most success with Newtons and have been wearing them for 5+ years. I was actually pretty crushed because so many runners I knew absolutely loved that shoe! Alas, my picky feet said no. I've had great luck with my Sauconys - so long as I 1/2 size up. I'm honestly too nervous to try too many other brands because I like my Kinvaras so much. haha<br /><br />And yeah, it's always hard for me to get rid of a running shoe. So many memories!
